I’m Caitlin, owner of Happy Tines – a design and lettering studio based in Apex, North Carolina. I’m a North Carolina native, a wife, a boy mama, and I'm obsessed with stationery and fine paper things. I’m on a simple mission to make you smile through my whimsical line of greeting cards, art prints and other happy paper goods.

I started Happy Tines in 2016 after discovering my love for calligraphy and illustration while designing my own wedding invitations. In 2018, I had a tiny newborn and so I shifted from custom wedding stationery to a line of hand-illustrated greeting cards in hopes to streamline my process and to make my products more accessible to others.

My whimsical illustration style is always evolving and can be found on stationery and gift products sold in my online shop and retail shops nationwide.

The word "tines" is a calligraphy term that references the two points that come together at the tip of a calligraphy nib! I use a mixture of calligraphy, gouache paintings and digital illustration in my artwork.
